Early Dice and how it started

Early Dice and how it started

When I first started doing dice I planned on just doing them for myself and my friends in small batches so we would not have to buy dice. Just make what we wanted. HA! I fell in love with the process. Before I even started I had 5+ years of experience casting in glass and metal and I should have known better that after being cooped up during the pandemic and itching to craft in the 3D and cast I would just fall in love with the simplicity and the complexity of resin! These are not the first dice. But they are the early ones that I did not intend on selling but eventually here we are! They are the ones that started it all as people started asking for them and telling me just how much they would offer for them to just take them from my bag with the “you could just make yourself another.”  And so I did.
Citrus Sloth was around long before that as a knitting and crocheting selling shop, much smaller, and why there are some textiles that drop randomly in sometimes. It never took off in the way the dice and jewelry have. But it was never as versatile as I find the dice. Or as expressive as I can get in 3D space with all the little worlds I can make. I mean come on 7-8 EVERY TIME! Who could beat that! I hope you enjoy.
